← Back to aisley Terms of Service

The deal, stated plainly.

You approve the prices and claims and you own your configuration. The platform enforces the walls around everything the concierge says and does. Billing has a ceiling before the month starts. Here is the whole arrangement.

Last updated 31 July 2026 · Between you and Autonomi Studios

01 This agreement

These Terms govern your use of Aisley, the embeddable AI concierge platform operated by Autonomi Studios ("we," "us"). "You" is the business that configures and embeds a concierge — the site operator, or "tenant." By embedding the widget, running the onboarding Scout, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Where a signed pilot or order agreement exists between us, its specific terms (pricing, region, support commitments, governing law and venue) take precedence over anything general stated here.

02 The service

Aisley places a concierge on your website that both talks (text and, on eligible plans, realtime voice) and acts — it opens what it recommends, fills a field, navigates the page, and invokes the capabilities you declared. Its behavior is compiled from your tenant configuration: persona, knowledge, allowed claims, optional prices, and the closed list of actions it may take. A tenant is configured, not coded.

The service is offered in evolving stages. During early access, some capabilities (self-serve onboarding, realtime voice, real-time knowledge ingest) may be gated, in preview, or operator- assisted. We will not silently bill you for a capability that is not live for you.

03 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the concierge to deceive, defraud, or harm visitors, or to make representations you are not authorized or willing to stand behind;
  • configure the concierge to deny that it is an AI, or to attempt to disable the AI-disclosure default — it is non-removable by design (see the disclosure guarantee);
  • place a concierge on a domain you do not control, or attempt to use a key outside its scoped origins;
  • probe, attack, rate-flood, or reverse-engineer the platform, or attempt to defeat the guardrails or budget ceilings;
  • embed content, knowledge, or claims that are unlawful, infringing, or that you have no right to publish;
  • use the concierge in a setting requiring professional licensure (medical, legal, financial advice) as a substitute for a licensed human, or in any use that applicable law prohibits.

04 Your responsibilities

Aisley enforces walls around what the concierge says, but the substance is yours. Specifically:

  • You approve the prices. The concierge may only quote amounts you confirmed or that come from your live product feed. You are responsible for keeping that set accurate.
  • You approve the claims. Every policy or commitment the concierge can make — returns, warranty, shipping, guarantees — is one you confirmed line by line. Unapproved claims are refused by the platform, not improvised.
  • You own your configuration and content. Your persona, knowledge, claim list, price set, and action hooks are yours. You are responsible for their accuracy, legality, and for the effects of any host-page code you wire an action to.
  • You are the data controller for your visitors' data; we process it on your behalf. See the roles section of the Privacy Policy.
  • You keep your secret key secret. The configuration key (sk_live_…) never belongs in a browser or a public repo. Treat its exposure as a breach and rotate it.
Why this split matters. A concierge speaks for your brand. Where it quotes a price or states a policy you approved, that is your representation to your customer — the same as text on your own page. Our walls exist to make sure it only ever quotes what you approved; they do not make us the author of your prices or policies.

05 What the platform commits to

In return, the platform enforces — on every reply, before it renders — the guardrails that make an agent safe to put in front of customers:

  • The price wall and claim wall: a reply that quotes an unapproved amount, the wrong currency, or an unauthorized policy is replaced whole, not partially cleaned.
  • The closed action allowlist: the concierge can only invoke capabilities you declared; unknown actions and phantom arguments are dropped, and an action whose data failed to load fails closed rather than firing on a guess.
  • Origin-scoped keys (see below), pre-request budget ceilings that degrade gracefully rather than run a surprise bill, and the non-removable AI disclosure.
  • Honest failure: the widget never pretends an action landed. When one doesn't, it emits telemetry and shows the visitor a fallback — a broken concierge is visible, not a silent lie.

These are described in full, with the file that enforces each, on the Security & Trust page.

06 The key security model

Your public site key sits in your page source, and that is safe by design. A test key (pk_test_) runs only on the origins you declared (a sandbox). A live key (pk_live_) runs only on origins whose ownership was proven — via DNS, embed-reflection, or a meta tag. A live key with no verified origin is inert, and a key copied onto someone else's site does nothing. You are responsible for using keys only on domains you control; we are responsible for making a lifted key worthless elsewhere.

07 Billing, and the cap that bounds it

Aisley is priced by engaged session — you pay when the concierge actually does something (replies substantively or fires an action), not for idle page views. The billing terms:

  • A hard monthly cap on every plan. Your bill has a ceiling before the month begins. When you reach the cap, the concierge degrades gracefully (it keeps disclosing and stays safe) — it does not silently keep spending.
  • Overage is opt-in. You are never charged past your cap unless you have explicitly enabled overage. No surprise bill is possible by default.
  • First-month guarantee. Your first month is free if the concierge never fires a real action on your page — if it did not do its job, you do not pay for it.
  • Early-access pricing. Pilot pricing is locked for pilot participants as stated in your pilot agreement. Published plan prices may change for new signups; we will not retroactively change a locked pilot rate without notice.

Paid plans are billed in advance for the stated period unless your agreement says otherwise. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which are your responsibility where applicable. Specific plan amounts and inclusions are stated on the pricing section and in your order.

08 Uptime and "as is"

We work to keep the service available and correct, and we build it to fail safe — a missing knowledge pack never takes the concierge down, and a broken action is reported rather than faked. That said, during early access the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without a contractual uptime SLA unless one is stated in your agreement. The concierge is an AI system: it can be wrong, and the walls bound its liability surface — they do not make it infallible. You are responsible for the human review the walls are designed to support (approved prices, approved claims, the red-team artifacts).

09 Ownership of work

You own your side: your configuration, knowledge, content, brand, prices, claim list, and your visitor data. We claim no ownership over them and do not use them to train models (see the Privacy Policy). We own our side: the Aisley platform, the widget, the guardrail engine, the Scout, and everything that makes the product — including improvements, whoever suggested them. You get a license to use the service; we do not get a license to your business.

10 Termination

You can stop at any time by removing the embed line and asking us to close your account; we will delete your configuration and visitor data on request (see erasure). We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms — chiefly the acceptable-use rules or non-payment — and, where practical, will tell you why and give a chance to cure. On termination, your keys stop resolving and the concierge goes inert on your page. Provisions that by nature survive (ownership, liability limits, accrued fees) survive termination.

11 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, on a free plan, a nominal amount). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You are responsible for the content, prices, and claims you configure and for host-page code you connect to an action; where a loss arises from those, that responsibility is yours. The walls reduce the risk of a fabricated price or claim reaching a customer — they are a strong defense, not a warranty that no error is possible.

12 Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these Terms as the product evolves; we will move the "last updated" date and, for a material change, notify active site operators. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

These Terms are governed by the law of Autonomi Studios' principal place of business; the specific governing law and venue are set out in your pilot or order agreement. [Registered address available on request.] Questions: autonomistudiosllc@gmail.com.
